the fire department is coming to see one of its finest members /

And will you open the window in his room? /

About five minutes later, /

a hook-and-ladder truck arrived at the hospital. //

It extended its ladder /
消防車ははしごを伸ばした
up to the open window on the third floor, /
３階の開いている窓まで
and sixteen firefighters climbed up and into Bopsy’s room. //
そして，16人の消防士がはしごを登ってボプシーの部屋に入ってきた。
With his mother’s permission, /

they hugged him /
彼らはボプシーを抱きしめ
and held him /

and told him how much they loved him. //

Bopsy looked up at the fire chief /

the chief said. //

Bopsy smiled /

and closed his eyes /
